Not-THAT-Kind-of-Campaign Style

The campaign style of furniture has seen a resurgence in recent years, and I've been strongly considering it as inspiration for my (future) kitchen remodel and mudroom desk. I just love the clean lines and metal strapping & corners, making it both modern and traditional at the same time.

Reeves Antiques in Houston has this gorgeous chest of drawers in inventory. The paint finish is killer!

We've all heard it a million times before, but isn't it amazing what a little paint can do to a $40 thrift-store find? Love those faux bamboo legs, too. Nice job!

Seriously, how beautiful is this pair of campaign-style low tables from F.S. Henemader on 1stdibs?

This is one of my favorite brass pulls I'm considering for cabinet drawers.

Very similar to the one above, and less expensive, too!

A much more traditional campaign-style pull.

Another traditional pull, but with more curves.

The original campaign-style furniture was portable and traveled with the British military during colonization. These brass corner trims and straps helped protect the pieces during transport.
